Before starting her own practice, Lauren spent over a decade at Amlaw 50 firms, where she specialized in employment law, with a particular emphasis on sensitive workplace investigations involving C-Suite and other high-level employees. While there, Lauren developed a reputation for providing practical user-friendly guidance tailored to her clients' business needs.
Lauren has helped companies from start-ups to Fortune 500s across a wide range of industries, including technology, retail, defense contractors, private equity, nonprofit, healthcare, sports, and entertainment. Lauren has extensive experience with defending employers against single-plaintiff, class-action, and collective-action matters involving harassment, discrimination, and wage-and-hour violations, as well as bringing and defending against claims for violations of noncompete and confidentiality agreements and trade secret misappropriation. At Kulpa Law, Lauren uses her real-world litigation experience to advise clients on how to prevent employment litigation and put themselves in advantageous positions should litigation arise.
On the investigation front, Lauren has handled investigations involving allegations of sexual harassment and assault, bullying and abusive behavior, discrimination, hostile work environment, retaliation, and failure to investigate. These investigations have involved C-Suite and high-level employees as well as high profile clients. As an investigator, Lauren strives to ensure that all parties involved (from the reporter to the subject, to the witnesses) feel that they have had the opportunity to be heard while being treated with dignity and respect.
